Beautiful four-day game drive. tour will start by visiting Lake Manyara National Park which is famous for its tree-climbing lions. The park is dominated by the lake and it attracts more than 400 bird species. Next day you will visit Serengeti National Park famous for its endless plains and plenty of wildlife. At last, you will finish with the Ngorongoro crater before heading back to Arusha.
Get picked up by your driver guide at the hotel in Arusha after breakfast and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Drive along the East African rift valley wall before reaching Lake Manyara National Park. The larger part of the park is dominated by Lake of the same name. Large colonies of water birds gather at this lake including colored flamingos, ground hornbill, cormorants, storks, pelicans, and many more. Among the animals found here includes Tree climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and hippos. Enjoy your game drive and have lunch at noon. In the late afternoon, you will drive out of the park heading to Karatu town. Spend your night at the hotel/ camping site.
From Karatu you will drive directly to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro conservation area. Drive along the Ngorongoro crater highland and through the Ngorongoro conservation area while enjoying good landscapes. On the way you have a chance to spot some wildlife although much of them are in the crater that you will visit on the way back on the Last day. Keep driving to the Southern part of Serengeti, and enjoy the good landscape of endless plains while looking for games.
From noon till evening, you will be enjoying your game drive while making your way to central Serengeti where you will overnight at the Lodge/ campsite. The park has a size of 14763 sq km. The park is home to giraffes, buffalo, Hyena, Elephants, crocodiles, hippos, and so much more. Don’t forget about predators which include Lions, cheetahs, leopards, etc. Spend your night at the camp in Central Serengeti Seronera.
After breakfast, you will go for an early morning game drive in Serengeti until noon. In the afternoon with your packed lunch, you will drive out of Serengeti heading to Ngorongoro crater. Enjoy the game drive while driving back to Ngorongoro. On your arrival at Ngorongoro Crater, you will be having an overnight at the crater rim while enjoying the stunning view of the crater from the Crater rim.
With good weather, you can enjoy a superb view over the crater from the crater rim. After breakfast go partly on adventurous road 600 metres down to the crater. The crater has a diameter of 17.2 km. Nearly all wildlife and diversity of the East African savannah has gathered here. Only giraffes and a few other animal species for which rocks are too steep for them do not live here.
Approximately 15000 to 2500 are gathered here depending on season. therefore, more than two-thirds of buffaloes, gnus, zebras, and gazelles. This large number of grazers also explains why in the crater the largest density of predators in Africa can be found. Besides other predators, more than 100 lions live here in several prides. Sometimes there is a chance of spotting the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard) in the crater. In the afternoon it goes up again to the steep crater walls and then back to Arusha.
