You will be picked up from the airport by a Shelukass Adventures representative and drive to your accommodation in Arusha for dinner and overnight, relax, and prepare in anticipation of the adventures to come.
In the morning you will be picked up from your lodge in Arusha by our safari guide. Start your drive to Tarangire National Park, across gently rolling Maasai plains with scattered acacia trees. As we zip along, we pass many Maasai in their colorful dress walking on the roadside, riding bicycles, herding cattle, and driving donkey’s carts. Tarangire National Park is well known for its large elephant herds, its also host to a multitude of other creatures. From the open roof of our safari jeep, experience the seasonal swamps, and savanna of the Tarangire River, endeavouring to encounter many other animals, from zebra to wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe, to name a few. Sometimes if lucky you may glimpse lions stalking prey or leopards watching, relaxing above the trees.

Wake up in the morning and drive to Lake Eyasi you will arrive at Lake Eyasi in the afternoon, check in to the booked partner accommodation then relax for some time as it is very hot during the afternoon in the late afternoon You visit lake and spend your time at the lake waiting for beautiful sunsets from the lake, before walking or driving back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Today you will need to wake up very early in the morning the local guide from the community will pick you up from the hotel very early in the morning if you want to get acquainted with the life of the Hadzabe tribe. The presence of these traditional bushmen is of great significance for the region. Walking is the most important activity here. Spend a day with the Hadzabe tribe and go for a hunt. These are the Bushmen who live here by hunting with bows and arrows and collecting wild berries and fruits. These are the last heirs of the parents who took their first steps here, along the Rift Valley, about two hundred thousand years ago.
Possibly enjoy the hunt with the bushman until the late afternoon, you will drive back to your accommodation for lunch, and after lunch, you get your luggage into the car and drive to the other traditional group who live close to the Hadza people the Datoga group. The Datoga is a tribe that forges copper and aluminum into bracelets, knives, and other tools. They also trade these products with the Hadzabe. Visit their home and learn about their ways of living. They are iron smiths and they will teach you how they melt the irons and make the bows and arrows to sell them for hunting by Hadza. In the late evening drive back to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Wake up in the morning and have your breakfast. After breakfast, continue towards the fertile highlands where wheat and corn are grown by the Iraqi people. Along the way, you will pass through the rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you might be lucky enough to see baboons or even leopards and elephants in the dense undergrowth. Stop into one of the amazing viewpoints of the crater from the crater rim, and enjoy the breathtaking while viewing a Ngorongoro Crater before descending to the crater for a full-day game drive exploring the Ngoro Ngoro.
Once on the crater floor, you will discover a large variety of grazing herbivores, as well as predators that keep following the prey and make them easy to hunt. With the season sometimes you may see huge flocks of pink flamingos around the shores of the shallow Lake, and the surrounding swamp is inhabited by hippos. This crater has formed its ecosystem due to its enclosed nature and is a place where you can certainly tick all the boxes. Amazing landscape scenery, abundant wildlife, and its very own distinctive. If you are after the ‘THE BIG 5’, it is all waiting for you here. Black rhinos, Elephants, lions, leopards, and hyenas along with healthy herds of wildebeest, buffalo, and zebra. Other wildlife includes serval cats, cheetahs, jackals, Grant’s and Thompson’s gazelles, flamingos, and bat-eared foxes, as well as approximately 400 species of colorful birds.
With your picnic lunch in the crater, enjoy every moment until the late afternoon you will drive to our carefully selected partner accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Wake up in the morning and have your breakfast, After breakfast, you will get into the car and drive to the Usambara mountains in Lushoto. The journey will take you about 5 to 6 hours. Arrive in Lushoto in the afternoon. Check in to the hotel for lunch and relax for some time in your room. In the late afternoon, you will start stretching your fits after a long time sitting in the car with all the African massage during your safari, this will be a time to stretch your feet and walk on the rolling hills of the Usambara mountains heading to Yoghoi Viewpoints for beautiful views and the amazing and colorful sunsets. Take beautiful pictures and in the late evening, the car will pick you up from the viewpoints and drive you to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Today you will have a full day exploring this evergreen and cool mountain, with your tour guide you will start walking from your hotel, passing through the villages set on the tops of the hills, cheering with locals on the way, passing through the farmland with a panoramic view of the lushoto the township. You will arrive at the Magamba Nature forest, you will have interesting stories about the flora and fauna of the forest and enjoy the very cool weather and oxygen from the natural forest, you will arrive at the German trench dug during World War I (WW1). Proceed with hiking to the viewpoint in the forest, enjoy some drink after hiking, and spend a few minutes at the peak later proceed with hiking to Magamba Eco Village where you will visit the community project, you will be welcomed and served a hot local lunch by the local mamas and later after lunch you will have time to experience a coffee
process from farm to cup you will learn a lot about coffee go all the process until you make your cup of coffee and celebrate it. You will relax and in the late afternoon the car will pick you up from Magamba and drive to the waterfalls enjoy the stunning waterfalls take pictures and in the late evening drive back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
